Dislocation Related Conditions
A dislocation occurs when the head of the femur slips out of the acetabulum
most commonly in either an anterior or posterior direction. Dislocations tend
to be due all or in part because of weakness in the musculature of the hip and
can be related to a specific diagnosis, although it does not have to be.
